About

I’m a builder who can’t code, and it turned out not to matter.

I ship real products with AI: a videogame, permit software for cities, tools for other builders. Here’s how I got here and why I do it.

I’m a visionary in the age of AI. There has never been a more opportune time in history to build and scale, opportunity is in our backyard. I don’t know the ins and outs of code, but I have a vision. I can see products before they’re built.

Language taught me how to build

I spent two years in Asia learning Chinese from almost nothing. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Time after time I failed to say what I actually meant, because language only works when it’s precise and intentional. Eventually it clicked, and I became fluent.

Building with AI is the exact same skill. I didn’t know what HTML was. I didn’t know what an API was. But once I could describe my ideas precisely, intentionally, I could build them. I see the vision, I put it into words, and it becomes real.

I bring the vision

What I’m genuinely good at is product vision and design. I can see the gaps. I can see what a product is missing before it’s built. I can’t stand bad user experiences, in this day and age, things should be seamless and easy. We are the orchestrators of our own lives, and I’d rather design that experience than put up with friction.

Building with my dad

My dad is my mentor. He’s one of the most honest, hard-working people I know, a truth-seeker and a practical thinker who has shown me what real grit looks like. Watching him work taught me that opportunity is all around us. We just have to reach out and take it.

Why this matters

I think there’s a huge moat to building right now, not because it’s hard, but because most people don’t know where to start. We were raised to work for others. I think we should be able to work for ourselves, according to our own skills. People are so valuable, and there’s talent in every direction. Everyone deserves to love their work and do what they were made to do.

You can build. I want to help.
